Brexit: University of Seville Seminar

To summarise a week when confusion reigns in London, Brussels and throughout the European Union (and Gibraltar and the Campo in particular)  the University of Seville will host a seminar “Regarding Brexit: the different scenarios in Spain and Gibraltar”.

The session will be chaired by Professor Francisco Escribano López the head of Financial and Tax law at the university and starts at 5 p.m. this Friday the 5th April 2019 in the Salon de Actos of the law faculty.

The well known Professor Dr. Alejandro del Valle Gálvez who Heads the Faculty of Public International law and International Relations of the University of Cádiz will deliver a talk entitled “The Brexit negotiating process, the Spanish position regarding Gibraltar and the consequences for the Campo de Gibraltar”.

University of Sevilla

Mr. Peter Montegriffo Q.C. a specialist in tax law at Hassans International Law Firm in Gibraltar follows with “ Gibraltar’s approach to Brexit, its consequences and predictions”.

Finally Professor Dr. Adolfo Martín Jiménez, chair of the Financial and Tax law at  the University of Cádiz will speak to “Fiscal Issues for the EU, Spain and Gibraltar”.

The seminar will be moderated by Professor Dr.Ana Luque Cortella Vice Dean at Seville University.
